Nicole & Jeff Birth Story!

Nicole began having contractions on Friday, June 15th. They weren’t incredibly intense and were spaced far apart, so she didn’t feel the need to wake me until the next morning. The contractions built slowly and came at random intervals throughout the day into the early afternoon, so we
spent the time growing excited and wondering if “this was it”. Just in case, I
grabbed my notes from the childbirth class and began cramming.

8th month

This week we approach the 8 month mark. What a journey it has been! Everyone says it has flown by except me (Nicole). In the first few months, I for
the most part felt tortured by pregnancy. I was so consistently
nauseaus, that time seemed to move painfully slowly. It was definitely
the most physically challenging time of my life...so far. Since then,
I've been savoring each moment of pregnancy. Certainly it still has its
